Artist Bio
Valerie Rodriguez is a Los Angeles based painter, originally from the Oakland Bay Area. A self taught artist, she has been creating since childhood and began painting portraits during her adolescence. Two of her early works were exhibited at the Rivertown Gallery in her hometown, marking an early recognition of her emerging practice.
Rodriguez’s art is rooted in consciousness raising, weaving together the spiritual and physical worlds. Through vivid acrylics and symbolic imagery, her work opens portals into realms of beauty, transformation, and expanded awareness. Each painting reflects her vision of art as both a meditative practice and a bridge between dimensions, offering viewers glimpses of the mystical within the everyday.
